The Alarm New Zealand Video-Link service is designed as an enhancement to your normal monitoring service, allowing both the monitoring station operators and customers to view online, in real-time, video alarm images as they occur and provide a link back "live" to the customers site enabling users to select individual cameras for control and viewing using a standard web browser

Alarm New Zealand who pioneered web based alarm services in the mid 1990's has embarked on a ambitious project to fully integrate all brands and styles of camera systems into its monitoring technology platform. Particular effort has been made to ensure that customers can access their cameras via our network using a standard web browser and that "special" application software is not necessary to access the service.

Web Based Video

A video-link to a customer's CCTV system or single camera allowing remote control of camera selection and viewing of video images. Customers can take a snap-shot of events direct from the site and store them on their desktop computer.

Before users can log-in to the Alarm New Zealand server they must be allocated a log-in name and password or apply for web access login online.

Applications for this service include domestic, rural, business, industrial, education, manufacturing and as video monitoring is likely to displace normal alarm equipment in the future Alarm New Zealand looks forward to great things happening in this area.
