ALARMNZ upgrades its OASYS platform to ALARMSWITCH
While the worlds leading alarm manufacturers
have added broadband modules to their accessory range for some years, none
have yet produced a native IP ALARM capable of reliably operating without a
analogue phone line. Well that's all about to change ...most new chipsets
have Broadband on board, and therefore so will the new alarm panels they are
placed into. The future Broadband alarm panels will include a larger power
supplies required to power the network access devices (modems/routers). This
alarm power supply unit (APSU) will find new markets, because unlike a UPS
it's batteries can be easily monitored by the existing local Alarm
monitoring agency and serviced by Alarm technicians who carry spares 24/7.
An extensive range of pre-programmed Alarm
systems are now available from leading electrical wholesalers across NZ. .
Each system comes with two passive infra-reds, controller, backlit keypad,
siren, battery and a free period of the
Mobile-Link,
Emergency 24/7
or
Lockdown
monitoring
service. With pre-programming installers can install and test the system in
less than 4 hours and receive free technical support 24/7 from the ALARMNZ
help desk.
The ALARMNZ partner program is based on honesty
when dealing with customers by encouraging an open arrangement where monies
collected and forwarded to the ALARMNZ partner are done so with the full
knowledge of the customer who benefits from the higher service levels
attained from this arrangement. Guaranteeing 24 hour quality service
requires a high level of commitment by all those service agencies involved
and ALARMNZ believes its partner program will produce the best possible
returns.
After years of successful service with the OASYS
software (ver.4) ALARMNZ has recently upgraded to ALARMSWITCH (ver.5). The
new platform is based on SQL server and is a enterprises level monitoring
system. The previous OASYS system is still a fantastic product and could
have remained in service for at least another 10 years, however due heavy
demand on the internet side of the business it was decided to start the
upgrade early. ALARMNZ partners and customers everywhere can now take a step
into the future where our competitors will not tread for at least 5-10
years.
