click here. or register as a new contact online. To assist our customers and those Alarm Service Network operators working with our monitoring centre, ALARM NEW ZEALAND provides a web based portal which allows those customers or organizations, to view/search low security information over the internet covering recent activity of their ALARM systems.
Before users can log-in to the ALARMSWITCH you must be allocated a log-in name and password from the monitoring help desk
The log-in name should be your email address and password be at least 6 characters in length (32 maximum) and either be alpha, numeric or both (recommended for password) a good example would be
Log-in Name: “billbloggs@xtra.co.nz”
Password: “porche911”
Hint: Choose either upper or lower case as a mixture can sometimes be confusing.
Log-in as: “Contact” (default) Note: Alter to "Service Co" if you represent a ALARM Service Agent.
Once you have a successfully logged-in you can simply select from the list the name of the customers site or area you wish to browse. Most users search the log history during the previous week, however particular time periods within the last 12 months can be selected. ( log data older then 12 months is available on special request.) Whilst you normally cannot alter any information, you can view staff callout lists, check user names, review schedules, lookup service companies and view reports. Please note all customer codes are not held on the ALARMSWITCH so are not available via this web portal.

Service companies after logging in get a slightly different screen in ALARMSWITCH where they can manage their company callouts leave notes. Service companies can also check on each customers log and review "not Normal" Alarm status across all systems connected to ALARMSWITCH that they are the attached service agent.
The log (record of events) information from each site whilst in real-time is “read only”. If your log-in password is discovered by an unauthorized 3rd party then the information that could be gained here is largely unhelpful for the purposes of defeating an alarm system at site. The ALARMSWITCH monitors all activity around it’s web portal and uses 128 Bit encryption for secure data broadcasts. Essentially it is faster and “safer” for any potential offender to defeat the actual Alarm at site than to attempt to hack the ALARMSWITCH for information about site activity which is obvious anyway.
